Search and source text
Word search uses BM25 ranking. Optional semantic search uses MiniLM sentence embeddings to compare the meaning of your question with passages in your notes. Results quote the original text; neither mode invents answers.
Recall practice
Practice cards hide a phrase from an original sentence. Your attempts and missed answers affect review priority and next review dates. These records do not measure mastery.
Local processing
The model and library are downloaded from Hugging Face and jsDelivr. Notes, questions, and embeddings are processed on this device. Saving is optional and uses this browser's storage. Resetting the room clears its saved notes and progress.
Limits
Related passages can still be irrelevant. English works best. Ambiguous wording, fragments, code, and equations may produce poor matches or awkward practice cards. Read the full source and check the accuracy of your notes.
